Hilton Head Lakes is a very unique community. The waterfront is great. The golf is great. The clubhouse is great. My wife and I have lived here about 2 years now and we're only in our early 40s so we are not yet retired. We feel like we fit in well to the community and have made some good friends here. We enjoy spending time on the water and out on the golf course. The trails are also one of our favorites. It's nice to just grab a cup of coffee and head out for a casual walk, maybe a donut too!

My husband and I went on a preview package. We are just starting our process of looking for a home so not on the market to buy yet The package was perfect. The trolley tour showed us Savannah, the dinner was excellent and we loved the golf cart tour by Frederick through Bluffton showing us the cutest little town we never would've known was there.

Matt was very helpful in giving us an overview of the community and the area. We really appreciated it wasn't a high-pressure pitch. Definitely worth checking out. Thank you for an excellent weekend

The neighborhood was beautiful and we would consider buying in the future when we return.

Ww moved here 2 years ago. There were not many homes then but the community has grown and continues to grow. We love it here and would recommend the community to everyone. We are getting a new clubhouse and pool very soon. The golf course is very nice. People are friendly. We are close to Hilton Head, Savannah and the airport. Hospital 10 minutes away.

I have been to Hilton Head Lakes to check out the community. My husband and I are looking to buy. Its a very beautiful community but where are the people? The place seems deserted. The gym is vacant, the pool by the clubhouse is vacant. Yesterday, Saturday we tried getting into the restaurant and it was closed. Not a soul around the property except few golfers and a few people coming out of the sales office. I really think the builders had all the right ideas but not too many are biting into it! An agent we hired took us to see a beautiful townhouse. It was just magnificent but it did not have a back yard. It only had a small patio. Unfortunately there is no dog park. You would think that with so much land they would have thought of that. The townhouse was once selling for the same price as a home. It was $300,000. Too much money! Now its selling for $159,000. There are only two families in the adjacent 8 town-homes. Why are there so few? They are rarely even advertised! Whats with that? Lot of questions! Not even my agent has answers for! Anybody have any clues?
