There are two clubhouses located within the gates of Winterhaven, each complete with an outdoor pool. Both clubhouses are available exclusively to Winterhaven's homeowners and their guests. Residents can use the outdoor grill and patio area to host neighborhood barbeques.
Winterhaven is the only 55+ community in Sierra Vista that is situated around a golf course. Pueblo Del Sol Country Club and Golf Course offers a variety of memberships to its semi-private club. Winterhaven is a very peaceful neighborhood. I feel safe here with the gated entrance and it's very quiet. The location is close to the border and about an hour from Tucson. I don't have to worry much about upkeep on the house or landscaping so I have plenty of free time to use the clubhouses. My friends all love it here when they visit. I've met a lot of nice people here so I never feel left out. There is always something to do.
